The classic Paper Plane gets a frosty makeover in this bright, citrusy frozen cocktail with no blender required. Thanks to the bourbon and other alcohol, this mixture will never fully freeze, meaning you can have six warm-weather cocktails ready in the freezer any time.
Ingredients
4 1/2 oz bourbon
4 1/2 oz Aperol
4 1/2 oz Amaro Nonino
4 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
Lemon zest, for serving (optional)
Directions
- In lidded container, combine the bourbon, Aperol, Amaro, and lemon juice. Transfer to the freezer and freeze overnight—at least 12 hours or more.
- When ready to serve, remove from the freezer and stir gently to break up the ice and make a slushy consistency. Serve in chilled coupe glasses with fresh lemon zest for garnish, if using.
